September 26, 2022 – Warner Music Singapore’s Mandopop artists, Soph T. and J.M3, turned up the heat and played to a packed crowd at Live Nation’s Ones To Watch Launch Showcase at Music Matters Live 2022.

First launched in the United States in 2017, Live Nation’s Ones To Watch is dedicated to introducing new artists and their music to fans globally. The platform includes exclusive interviews, playlists, live performances, and other creative music content. Ones To Watch has played an important role in kick starting the careers of a number of global superstars, including Halsey, Dua Lipa, LANY, and Yungblud.

Launching the Singapore edition at Music Matters Live 2022, Live Nation’s Ones To Watch kicked off with a live showcase event on 26 September 2022 at SCAPE’s Ground Theatre, with performances from emerging Southeast Asian talent – Soph T. (Singapore) and J.M3 (Singapore) – both of whom are signed to Warner Music Singapore. On the same bill was also singer/guitarist Muzza who hails from Malaysia.

Opening the night was the bilingual Mandopop rapper/songwriter J.M3, who pumped up the crowd with her explosive high energy singles such as “Lady” and “Hot Sauce.” On top of the vibey new single “Castle,” the talented rapper also previewed a demo track, “All Night Long,” to a receptive crowd.

Says J.M3 on her Instagram post, "whatttt a show ✨ clearly I was very happy, cos I’ve not seen a set of photos like this where I was smiling this brightly throughout. #mmlive22 was a thrill big love to @livenationsg"

Says Soph T. on her Instagram post, "after i got home from the show on mon, i sat alone in my living room thinking how lucky i am to be able to make and perform music, and to be surrounded by good people. 💖 i could do this forever. 🥹🫶🏻 "

Capping off the Music Matters conference, J.M3 took part in the Dolby Matters In Music panel on Wednesday (September 28) and talked to a room of industry folks from around the region. J.M3 shared spirited anecdotes on being a music artist, her experience on the Dolby Atmos format and how it has heightened her listening experience both as an artist and a fan. The panel was moderated by Karan Grover, Sr. Director - IMEA (Commercial Partnerships) of Dolby Labs, and also featured fellow panelists, Keerthivasan Subramanian, Founder & CEO of Playtoome and Ezekiel Keran, Music Producer/Mix Engineer of M03 SOUND.
