Biography
Lizzo has been one of pop’s most invigorating stars since debuting in the early 2010s. Blending her force-of-nature voice, brazen lyrics, and uptempo grooves—as well as the occasional flute solo—she specializes in party-ready, baldly honest tracks she refers to as “Lizzobangers.”
Her 2016 smash “Good as Hell” redefined the you-go-girl breakup song, and collaborations with the likes of fellow Twin Cities hero Prince and bounce legend Big Freedia primed the pump for 2019’s funky, flirty, and often outrageous Cuz I Love You, which features the synth workout “Juice” and the twisty Missy Elliott collab “Tempo.
